Session Formats
Lightning talk (5-10 minutes)
Fast, focused and memorable. Perfect for one sharp idea, a quick demo or a handful of practical tips. No Q&A.
Standard talk (30 minutes)
The classic format. Go deeper into your topic and optionally leave a few minutes for questions.
Workshop (60 – 90 minutes)
Hands-on, classroom-style learning. Guide attendees through exercises or step-by-step build.
What should you speak about?
We welcome any topic that helps the WordPress community grow–technical or non-technical. Share your experiences, lessons learned, or an inspiring story. You can also choose from ideas below:
- A journey or lesson from your work with WordPress
- Performance, security, accessibility or SEO
- Design systems, UX, or content strategy
- E-commerce, marketing or analytics
- Community building, contribution, or career growth
- WordPress for editors, content writing strategy
- Artificial Intelligence, AI impact and usage with WordPress
Talks in clear, simple language are encouraged. Case studies and demos are welcome.
Who can apply?
Everyone. You don’t need to be an experienced speaker–just passionate and prepared. WordCamp Islamabad audience is usually large so bit of practices helps. We are happy to help and share tips.
How many talks you can submit?
You can submit up to two proposals. We won’t be accepting additional submissions. For two proposals, please submit the form separately for each topic,
