What do people see when they find you online for the first time?
Your website is often the first place a client, employer, or customer meets you. Within a few seconds, they decide whether it feels clear, credible, and worth exploring.
Good design is less about decoration and more about consistency: the same colors, type, and tone everywhere people find you.
At WordCamp Islamabad 2026 Contributor Day, this workshop shows you how to give your site a clear identity using the design tools already built into WordPress, without hiring a designer or writing code.
You will define your own brand basics, apply them to a working site, and get practical feedback on the result.
What You’ll Learn
- Brand Basics: Choosing a small set of colors, fonts, and a tone that represent you or your business.
- Global Styles: Applying those choices across your whole site from one place in the Site Editor.
- Layouts with Patterns: Building clean, balanced pages quickly with block patterns.
- Consistency at Scale: Creating reusable sections so every page follows the same design.
- Mobile and Accessibility: Checking how your site looks on small screens, with readable contrast and clear headings.
- Beyond Your Website: Carrying the same visual identity across your social profiles.
