What should you speak about?

We welcome any topic that helps the WordPress community learn and grow, technical or non-technical. Share your experience, a hard-won lesson, or a story that inspires. Not sure where to start? Here are some ideas:

  • A journey or lesson from your work with WordPress
  • Performance, security, accessibility or SEO
  • Design, UX, and building better user experiences
  • Content creation, editorial workflows, and writing for the web
  • E-commerce, marketing or analytics
  • Building plugins, themes, or products on WordPress
  • Freelancing, agency life, and working with global clients
  • Block themes, Gutenberg, and modern WordPress development
  • WordPress in local languages: Urdu content, translation, and localization
  • Community building, contributing to WordPress, or career growth
  • AI: its impact on and use with WordPress

Talks in clear, simple language work best. Case studies and live demos are always welcome.

Who can apply?

Everyone. You don’t need to be an experienced speaker, just passionate about your topic and willing to prepare. WordCamp Islamabad usually draws a large audience, so a little practice goes a long way, and our team is happy to help with feedback and speaking tips along the way.

How many talks you can submit?

You may submit up to two proposals. If you’re submitting two, please fill out the form separately for each topic. Additional submissions beyond two won’t be considered.

Ready to take the stage? [Submit your talk before 5th October, 2026.]

Before submitting your speaker proposal, please log in to WordCamp.org using your WordPress.org account*.

If you don’t have an account, please create one.

* This is your account for the official WordPress.org website, rather than your personal WordPress site.
