Call for Table Leads
We are looking for experienced WordPress contributors to serve as Table Leads during Contributor Day at WordCamp Islamabad 2026. Table Leads will help contributors get started with their chosen contribution team, explain basic workflows, answer questions within their area of experience, and help create a welcoming and productive contribution environment.
Help Others Contribute to WordPress
Contributor Day is all about learning, collaborating, and giving back to WordPress. To make that experience easier for everyone, we’re looking for experienced contributors to serve as Table Leads.
As a Table Lead, you’ll help contributors understand how their team works, get started with their first tasks, and find the right resources or people when they need help.
What Does a Table Lead Do?
Table Leads will:
- Welcome contributors and introduce them to the team
- Help new contributors get started with their first contribution
- Explain the team’s basic workflows and resources
- Answer questions within their area of experience
- Explain the team’s basic workflows and resources
- Photography and media assistance
- Help contributors troubleshoot common issues
- Keep the table organised and collaborative
- Coordinate with the Contributor Day organisers and other Table Leads
Who can be a Table Lead?
We are looking for contributors who:
- Have previous contribution experience with the team they want to lead
- Understand the team’s basic workflows and contribution process
- Are comfortable helping and guiding other contributors
- Can communicate clearly and work well with others
- Are willing to support both new and experienced contributors
- Can be available throughout Contributor Day
You don’t need to know everything. What matters is having enough hands-on experience to help others get started and knowing where to direct them when a question goes beyond your expertise.
