Setting up a WordPress site just to test something is slow — the right version, a theme, some plugins, some content — and it stops a lot of good testing before it starts. This friendly, beginner-focused talk shows a much easier way.
First, I’ll introduce WordPress Playground in plain language: a complete WordPress site that runs inside a browser tab, with nothing to install and nothing to break. Then I’ll introduce the new part — Playground’s MCP server — without assuming any AI knowledge. The simple idea: MCP is how an AI assistant can “talk to” a WordPress site and do things in it for you.
The will show the steps how to connect an AI assistant to Playground and give it plain-English instructions: install a plugin, add a few posts, then try some unusual inputs and tell me what breaks. The audience watches a real WordPress site get set up and tested in minutes, driven entirely by natural language.
It’s early technology and not perfect, but it’s genuinely useful and fun to try. Everyone leaves knowing what Playground and the MCP server are, and how to try the exact same thing themselves that afternoon, for free, in a browser. No code, no setup, no cost.
